EHECATL: No, it's nothing etheric - not spell of mortal or fae, nor a gate to the underworld, nor possession by ghost, nor demon, nor spirit.

HEDY: And their skeletons aren't independently animate.

EUREKA: They aren't controlled by implants or nanites - they aren't cyber zombies.

KOAN: They haven't been exposed to the "color out of space," or any exotic particles, and they aren't animated by lightning.

EHECATL: Nor are they victims of orgone depletion.

HEDY: And it's not Gla'aki or Shub-Nigguruth.

BALDRIC: What does that leave?

KOAN: Contamination by an as yet unidentified titanoform or eldritch entity...

EUREKA: A memetic effect, like a noise that literally wakes the dead? A reality bender having a bad dream after a Romero movie?

SFX: Zzzzz pop

EUREKA: Could be anything.
