GEIST: Fine. Trent could be admitted to the Strike Force if this team can discover the source of the zombie outbreak and neutralize the threat.

SFX: pop

GEIST: They do still need to actually succeed. If we have to intervene because they've botched the mission, that might change things. Who knows, maybe Jim will single-handedly save the day, and we'll have to pick him.

BALDRIC: Yeah, about that. How are we doing on figuring that out?

EUREKA: Look, if the Nakamura number... Oh, sorry.

The zombies test negative for all known strains of the zed-virus...

KOAN: ...and bacteria, and fungi, and the parasites.

EUREKA: In fact, they don't seem contagious at all...

KOAN: ...which only makes their numbers more alarming.

HEDY: They also test negative for West's Reagent.

EHECATL: And all known forms of etheric reanimation. And nothing in the town's brief history suggests that they have offended the dead on a significant scale.

GEIST: No action in the graveyard, anyway. Seems these were all current residents.
