TRANSCRIPT

JAROVIT: "It is not tolerable, it is not possible, that from so much death, so much sacrifice and ruin, so much heroism, a greater and better humanity shall not emerge."

GEIST (interjecting): Charles de Gaulle

JAROVIT: My point is Trent's suffering and sacrifice vill inevitably rezult in true heroism. Say, Ehecatl, you vill back me up on this, von't you?

EHECATL: Yes. Trent Hazelwood deserves a heroic death. All human beings deserve the opportunity to prove themselves righteous by heroically serving their community, and self-sacrifice is the essence of heroism.

EHECATL (quietly to himself): Humanity is so noble. Oh, but this one needs to learn to cite his sources properly...

GEIST: Are you... grading papers?

EHECATL: I have a personal responsibility to my students.

GEIST: You have TA's for that!

EHECATL: These are the papers that require special attention.

GEIST: This field exercise requires your full attention!

EHECATL: I am quite capable of giving my full attention to eight tasks at once.

GEIST: That's not what "full" means.

EHECATL: That is not what full means for you, but I am not so limited.

TRENT: ...man you really don't talk much – or, um... think much.

SFX: pop

GEORGE (mind link): My thoughts are private – you don't have to broadcast them all.

TRENT: Oh, okay. Hey – Check this out!

EHECATL: Had you not noticed, or are you just trying to cast doubt on the validity of my opinion? It does not matter. I cast my vote. We admit Trent and Jim... I still sense much doubt in George.

GEIST: You sense doubt? What, you think you're a Jedi now?
